IT Support
Oh boy. Where do we start. Every IT support company
we've ever heard of shouts about how they're different, how they're
"client centric", "customer focused" blah blah blah.
Well, here's the deal with Amherst:
- You'll speak to the same people each time you
call - no call centers support tickets et al.
- If you are based in Mayfair, we'll be around to
see you in a flash. If not, we'll support you remotely or pop
over to see you as soon as we can.
- We don't get you to sign long contracts with
meaningless SLAs (sign
one with a support company, and you'll be confident that it will be
landing on their bank manager's desk to support their next overdraft
request!). We instead sign a rock solid NDA and ask you to sign
an engagement letter agreeing to our terms of business (which are, when
we do work for you, that you'll pay us!)
- We know our stuff, including how to use
open-source software to save you money, and we'll recommend hardware
based on what it can deliver, and not whether it meets our "quota" to
some vendor or another.
We think that all of that makes us (at least a little) different!

We’ll sit down over coffee and discuss
where you’ve been, where you are now, and of course, what you want to
achieve in the short and long term.
